“To help guide our teachers and parents through the details of setting up and executing a fruitful High School program.”

These Workshops will be held on a national level in each area. The Eastern US ED Board will be holding High School Workshops and want to invite Homes in the Eastern area to attend.

DETAILS OF EASTERN ED BOARD HIGH SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

Location:
Canada (see attached file for more info)

Dates: Monday, August 11 to Thursday, August 14

Subjects to be covered in Workshops:

· Workshop 1- What is a High School Education and Options for High School

· Workshop 2- The Family High School Requirements

· Workshop 3- Projections

· Workshop 4- Transcripts

Target Audience:

· Parents and teachers of students in the 8th grade level or above currently in High School.

· Parents and teachers of children in lower grade levels who may be interested as well and may want to attend. (This is general information on who the material is specifically targeting)

We will be sending out further notice on the exact location and schedule of the Workshops. We wanted to first inform you of the workshops so you can include them in your summer planning.

In order to begin making arrangements for the workshops, we would like to ask if each home could let us know by June 15th, how many people will be attending from your home and if you will be coming from out of town and need accommodations. Please send your responses to heyjenlin@yahoo.com.

Dear Family,

It is a sincere honor to be able to assist you in the education of your youth as you devote your lives daily to fulfill the Great Commission.

We are grateful to offer your Home’s teachers an opportunity to attend a five-day seminar of specialized teacher training, hosted by your Education Board in October of this year. This training program is one of the three “Big-ticket board programs in 2008” for the worldwide Family.
