Subject: Information Request
My name is Mike and I live in El Paso, Texas. I have been a Christian for many years (even attended seminary and served as a pastor for a time).
I had been doing research on your organization, primarily because I was teaching a world religions class. I began doing research with the perception that The Family International was a cult. What I found, was that your beliefs were remarkably orthodox, and similar to my own. I can’t really explain why, but I feel compelled to contact you and find out more.
There is something within me that feels joy and peace about it. I believe it is the spirit leading me to contact you. Do you have any local outreach?
Is there anyone that I can talk to personally? If you do have some local people, I would love to meet them and even take them out to lunch (my treat).
