Miracle of supply!
November 23, 2007 | Leave a Comment
From Sharon
Shari and I were witnessing at a Wal Mart and a lady came out and asked us about our work. We explained what we do, why we are having a fund-raiser, what we believe etc. but didn’t get into a big conversation — gave her a tract, and she walked on. We didn’t give her another thought, when 20 minutes later, the same lady pulled up and handed me a check. She said she read our tract, and God told her to help us, that helping us was what He wanted her to do. We thanked her a lot and exchanged hugs and again she moved on. We glanced at the check and it was made out to us for $1000!

Does Jesus Care?

From David, Houston: Last weekend, when we were out street-lighting, a car came rolling up to the stop light and almost immediately began to smoke and steam up. An older lady that was driving starting panicking and screaming as we went walking up to the car to see if we could help with something. “NO, NO, NO! I can’t believe it! Why is God doing this to me? He doesn’t love me any more!” Read more

All the Angels Rejoice
November 10, 2007 | Leave a Comment
Posted on Win the World:
From Lilly, US: Last month our friend Karen (activated for two years) asked me to talk with her mom as she has been quite depressed since her mother died. I prayed for her and the next day when praying I received the verse that all the angels in heaven above rejoice when there is a soul saved. Well that same day I called over to Karen’s house and her mother answered. I started to witness to her and then she received Jesus in her heart over the phone. TTL! Later, that week when I went over to Karen’s house her mother came up to me and in front of everyone she thanked me for praying the salvation prayer with her. She asked me to copy it for her to share with her family in the D.R. After I wrote out the prayer in my best Spanish, Ha! I gave her some material to read and she said…”I will read it with my whole heart” after her return to the D.R. she sent a card to me thanking me for everything. TTL!

From Ele, US: A sheep that I’ve been Following up on for over 4 yrs. now, and has gone back & forth, up & down for some time now, made a significant break-through recently. Santos said last week: ” Thank you for not giving up on me. I know that the Lord loves me inspite of all my sins & shortcomings because you’ve always been there for me. You’ve never given up on me. Thank you Richard. I want to support your outreach ministries every month now.”

Romans 8:28 Victories!

From Esther (of Nehemiah), US:
As I was reading through the Proverbs today, my eyes fell at the words good news in 15th chapter. “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health…” (Pr 15:30)
Often we look at the difficulties that we face in life with discouragement and dismay – health problems, adverse situations, financial lows…
A few days ago, as I was claiming one of my favorite promises in the Bible, Romans 8;28 “For we know that ALL things work together for a good to those who love Him ( Jesus) and who are called according to His purpose” We were in pretty difficult situation, — I was in lots of pain due to the nerve damage that I suffered from the car accident a few months ago; and we did not have a place to stay for the next few months we would need to be here in the area. Pain was debilitating, and we ran out of options where we can stay another day. But as I red this promise, I felt the Lords soothing Spirit reminding me of all those times when exactly through difficult situation we were able to see the fulfillment of His promises….
Here are just a couple of stories… Read more

From Linda, Texas:
Because of my fibromyalgia I signed up for a senior citizen water aerobics class, as it is therapeutic for my condition. I found out that the Catholic Retreat here in our little town has an indoor pool that’s open year round. I was able to provision the classes and the lady suggested that my smile and friendship would be worth more than the cost of the classes. She told me a lot of the people attend the classes because they’re lonely . You have to be 55 years or older to attend, and I realized this can be a new challenge and ministry I can enter into with the elderly.
It’s been 3 weeks now and I’m starting to get to know the different people. There are about 130 people that attend the different sessions (you can go to whichever one you want any day). I told the office manager how the swimming has already made a difference in how I feel and she said, “Oh, I can hardly wait to tell the sisters that!” The center is run by nuns. I’m excited about the potential of meeting people and making friends. Some of these people drive up in their Cadillacs, Mercedes and BMWs, but they are lonely.

God’s Little Miracles!
November 6, 2007 | Leave a Comment
Posted on Win the World –
From Jeremy, US: We have an amazing testimony of the Lord’s supply. Today we had a short time to witness as our team was on the way to perform somewhere this evening. As we were witnessing we went up to a middle aged man from Liberia. He really liked our work and wanted to help us, but said that all he had was a credit card. After telling us this a few times, he said, “Hey! I have an idea! Do you have a car? How about I fill up your tank for you!” We were so thankful. He even offered to get us a meal and was super interested in supporting our work. This was such an answer to prayer as we were needing to fill up the tank and were pretty low on fuel. We agreed to keep in further touch, but this was such a miracle and so encouraging to see the Lord supply all our needs. He is so faithful!

From Aurora
While out witnessing the other day I approached a young Latin looking man and his son. He looked real tough and at first didn’t seem very interested, but he looked at the Signs Of the End poster for a couple of minutes and then started asking me questions and he turned out to be quite interested. He told me he was a bad person, always making mistakes and he didn’t think he was going to heaven. Some people used to come to his house and they told him he had to be baptized to go to heaven and they were really pushy about it until he told them to stop coming. I explained to him that it’s actually really simple and how Jesus loves us so much that he died for us so we wouldn’t have to be good enough. He stood there drinking in my words like a little baby, by the time I asked him if he wanted to pray with me he eagerly said, “Yes, please!” Afterwards he was obviously touched as he told me, “No one ever explained it to me like that before, I really appreciate it”.
From Jerimiah
Yesterday I went out witnessing and prayed about where I should go. After asking the Lord where to go I was on my way to this big park which is nearby. In the park I started to pass out the different posters to the people that I came across. Some people were not so interested, but then under this big tree was a young Latin man who saw me approaching him. He said he had a lot of worries on his mind, so I offered him the “What Everybody Needs is Love†poster and asked him to read it when he had time. After telling him about Jesus, he opened up and told me that he had a lot of problems. He was thinking of getting drunk, he thought that if he drank enough the problem would go away – he was really discouraged. After about 30 minutes he prayed to receive Jesus into his heart. After we prayed it was like whatever was bothering this man was gone! He said maybe the Lord me sent his way. Think you Jesus for using us to help those that need You.

Rainbow Gathering photos and testimonies!
August 17, 2007 | 1 Comment
The Rainbow Gathering was held in Arkansas this year and several teams from Family Homes in California and Texas met up for a week of witnessing, soul winning, singing, camping, and eating organic food of questionable origin (just kidding). We’re working on getting the final witnessing stats, until then, enjoy the photos and testimonies. And if you were at the Rainbow and have a testimony to share – follow the Spirit’s call and send it in with all haste, amen?

Prayer request from Detroit Home
March 29, 2007 | Leave a Comment
We are preparing for our soon coming road trips. Please pray that the Lord prepares the way ahead in each city that we visit, that He brings the right people across our path, helps us in our follow up, and supplies everything we need for them, including car work, campgrounds in each city and more.
The Lord told us, as we heard from Him at the beginning of this season that we should major on follow up and reaching those we’ve met before, so it’s going to be exciting.
WLY! Thanks for your prayers!
