Question: What does BOB mean?

Answer: Good question! One of our favorites is Band Of Brothers… but there are lots of possibilities, as you can see on the “What Is BOB?” page. And you’re welcome to add to the growing list through the contact form at the bottom of that page.

Question: What is this site for?

Answer: BOB Report is a website/blog specifically created as a news site for the North American Family. Check it often, it changes rapidly.

Question: Who are the admins?

Answer: For the most part, the North American RC.

Question: How do I navigate this site?

Answer: There are (presently) three main columns to this site. The largest column is where you’ll find most of the daily updates – some of which will be links to news from our North American Family on other sites, and some of which will be testimonies or updates posted directly on the site.

• FAQ – (YOU ARE HERE :) ) Answers to frequently asked questions. If you have a question, please submit it on the Submit Content page and you may see the answer posted here for the benefit of all. Or you may not, we really can’t guarantee it.
• Submit Content – If you have a link, testimony, announcement, or anything else you’d like posted on BOB Report, click on this page and use the form to submit your material – you just may find it on BOB Report shortly afterwards! You’ll need to fill in your email address (this will only be visible to the BOB Report administrator), and type in your message, then hit the “Send Message” button at the bottom. You can also send in your questions, suggestions, or problems pertaining to the website.
• What is BOB? – A list of your options for what BOB means to you and your loved ones.

Other Buttons

• Categories – A list of categories/topics. Clicking on one of the categories will show you the articles that fall under that category.
• Archives – Click on a month and see all articles that were posted in that month. Darn handy.

• “Worth Reading” – Links to interesting news articles. If you come across an interesting news link, do share it with us.
• “We Recommend” Links – Great websites!
• “WYSIWYG” Blog Links – What You See Is What You Get: Blogs of many Family members in North America are listed here. If you notice one we missed, send us the link and we’ll include it. We can’t vouch for the content in every blog listed here, so Mat. 9:29…

Question: I like this site. How can I contribute?

Answer: If you have a personal website or blog, link to BOB — We do love links!

Most importantly, send in your news – we really like current stuff. If you have a personal blog or website yourself that you’ve updated with news, or if you happen to come across something on a friend’s blog that is BOB worthy, send us the link to the post and within a reasonable period of time you should find your tidbit linked to from BOB Report in the main column. We put up links to news from Family blogs in North America as we come across them, but as much as we would love to spend all day skimming Family blogs for BOB Report material, it’s just not possible. So, Bear Our Burden, help us out and send us your links and testimonies.

If you don’t have a blog or website of your own, submit your testimony via email to admin@bobreport.org or through the “Submit Content” page. You don’t have to have stellar writing skills nor do you have to spend a lot of time working on your testimony or tidbit – although if you want to, of course, you’re welcome to. But what we want most of all is current and recent news. News that happened two months ago is more, well, history… If your testimony needs a lot of details or explanation, you could even send in a quick update saying, for instance: “I just got back from an amazing road trip where we won 100 souls and 12 new disciples! More details and photos coming soon!”

Question: What kind of news should I send in?

Answer: Anything that you feel would be inspiring and uplifting news. What’s happening in your life, Home, or area. News articles, Signs of the Times, Health Tips, Board News, Want Ads… don’t be shy, send us your stuff! BOB Report wants your prayer requests as well, so we can all be claiming the keys for whatever it is that you need. Think of all the extra prayer power you can get.

Question: How exactly do I submit content for this site?

Answer: You can use the “Submit Content” form on the website (the page is located near the top). Please enter your correct email address so we can email you back if we need to. This is ideal to use if you’re not including pictures with your message and just have text or a link to send.

Or you can email us at admin@bobreport.org. If you have pictures to send, this is the way to go! If you’re just sending in content, your message does not need to be encrypted.
